Made from whole whear berries that are sprouted, dried, and ground in-house using a hammer mill. The flour adds a subtle, natural sweetness, and it often mixed into white or yellow corn batter when making traditional Navajo corns cakes. While some now use sugar or raisins, germinated wheat remains a locally rooted, time honored ingredient.
